Couples therapy session focused on communication, connection, and emotional healing.

Couples Therapy

Conflict happens. Repair is where love deepens.

We are born in relationship, we are wounded in relationship, and we can be healed in relationship.

— Harville Hendrix

Turning Towards, Not Away

You care about each other but lately, it feels like you’re speaking different languages.
The smallest things turn into arguments or lead to silence. Maybe you’re stuck in a cycle of miscommunication, resentment, or emotional distance. The connection that once felt easy now feels strained — like something you both miss but aren’t sure how to get back to.

Underneath it all is a longing to feel understood, to feel close, and to feel like you're on the same team again.

In couples therapy, we’ll explore your unique attachment styles, the needs that shape your connection, and the relational patterns you’ve inherited or internalized over time. You’ll learn how to have deeper, more meaningful conversations — even around the hard stuff.

Miscommunication is normal. I’ll help you navigate it with tools for attuned listening, effective repair, and mutual understanding.

Our work focuses on recognizing and expressing your needs, while learning to support each other in ways that feel emotionally safe and aligned with your shared values.

At the heart of this work are the principles of trust, commitment, and healthy conflict resolution — all supporting your relationship to grow into a deeper source of joy, connection, and resilience.

My Approach

I blend The Gottman Method, a research-based model for healthy relationships, with Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work. This helps us explore both the dynamics between you and the emotional parts within each of you that show up in the relationship.

IFS brings greater self-awareness, clarity, and compassion to your connection, allowing you to respond to each other more intentionally, not just reactively. With Gottman tools, we build concrete skills for communication, repair, and shared meaning.

I’ve completed the Gottman Level 3 Practicum Training, and I bring both structure and emotional presence to sessions. My style is grounded, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. Whether you're navigating a disconnect, a transition, or just want to strengthen your foundation, I’d love to support you and your partner.
